Summary of Communication

Since the last progress report, we have had three meetings with the owners of the Lyric Theatre. Our communication is mainly done through a vtprojectmanagement@gmail.com email that we set up at the beginning of the the project and our main point of contact is Susan Mattingly, the Executive Director at the Lyric Theatre. The email communication is used to set up face-to-face meeting times and share any follow ups from the meetings. The communication has been very easy and in a timely manner. It consists of the following:

  • Email Chain from February 8-13

  • Introduction and asking for permission to help

  • Setting up the kick-off meeting

  • Email Chain on February 17

  • Share the qualtrics survey to see if Susan wanted to make any changes before making it live

  • Email Chain from February 23-27

  • Set up meeting before Spring Break

  • Follow up data from Susan of their Facebook analytics

  • Email Chain from March 16-20

  • Seeing what ideas they liked or if they had any other project ideas

  • Setting up next meeting to discuss project ideas

  • Email Chain on March 22

  • Receiving Dinner and a Movie information

  • Resending the qualtrics survey data

  • Meeting on February 13th @ 2:00PM

  • Introduction

  • Talk about the class, the project, the lyric

  • Kick-off meeting

  • Meeting on February 27th @ 1:30PM

  • Share qualtrics survey results and discuss the findings

  • Tour the facilities

  • Get a better understanding of what they are already doing as far as social media and reaching out to students goes

  • Meeting on March 22nd @ 12:30PM

  • Discuss what ideas they want us to pursue

  • Find out how the Lyrics Theatre would like us to pursue the options

  • The next steps that should be taken
